DPC Contest: Cryptid Mascot

DPC is looking for a mascot for our organization and what better than a creature of mystery and legend.

But we don’t want just to try and lay claim to an existing one, no we want one of very own!

Contest Information:

Submission Dates: May 2nd 2026 – July 18th 2026

DPC Judging: July 19th 2026 – July 26th (DPC’s Board will pick the best 5 entries)

Mascot Voting: July 27th – August 23rd 2026 (The top 5 will be voted on through DPC’s social media)

Winner will be announced at the 2026 Dayton Pagan Festival on Oct 3rd 2026 at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds

Contest Rules

  • Create an original cryptid creature to be DPC’s Mascot
  • Write a short backstory for your creation
  • Create an original image of it
  • Submit it to DPC’s contest email (see below)
  • This contest is OPEN TO ALL AGES. Keep it fun and PG
  • No AI images will be accepted
  • Deadline for submissions is July 18th
  • One entry per person
